It is true that most people spend their waking hours at work. Despite the fact that various factors can lead to job satisfaction, I think that it is unrealistic to believe that all workers will be satisfied.

On the one hand, there are various factors which lead to job satisfaction. Firstly, one of the contributing factors is the relationship between supervisors and their subordinates. Workers who think negatively of their bosses are often less satisfied, while employees who get along well with their bosses are usually more content with their work. Secondly, interaction and relationship with coworkers also impact job satisfaction since they have to cooperate, discuss or even have lunch together during working hours. Thirdly, it is not inevitable that high salaries can encourage workers to work hard and be satisfied with their jobs as they can use their income to pay for everyday living costs. Finally, opportunities for development play a critical role as well since people can realize their full potentials and get rewarded by their company.

On the other hand, it is impossible to make all workers satisfied in a company as there are many conditions to be met. It is very unlikely that all workers will be able to adapt themselves to the culture of an organization and develop their social skills in order to have happy and meaningful relationships with their bosses and coworkers. For instance, some workers are unable to cooperate well with others because they are introverts. In terms of compensation, workers would be happy if they can earn a high level of income. However, not all workers will be promoted and compensated with high salaries because of their poor performance and other factors.

In conclusion, job satisfaction is highly influenced by multiple factors, and it is therefore difficult to achieve.
